| The UH-1F was built for the American Air Force, and was used in Vietnam solely to support Special Forces operations. It is easily recognisable because the exhaust of its powerful engine points sideways, and it also has a longer tail boom than the other short bodied Hueys. | |||||||||||

The UH-1H has a longer cabin, and a more powerful engine than the 1B & 1C, so was generally used for troop transportation, and could carry up to 14. There were also a few gunship configurations later in the war. The sculpting of the Hasegawa kit is a bit clumsier than that of the Italeri. | |||||||||||
